” “WE ARE THE 99%
note: I’m lucky, we have a house, cable, internet, phone, food, etc. “
Hate to break it to you, Dude, but if you have all that, you are not poor.

Soooo… you are saying you INTENTIONALLY jeopardized your future but you are angry at everyone else for it? Not sure I follow the logic, but whatever. The best contribution you can make to society at this point is pretty simple really: please do not vote. Ever.

For someone with such an education, you sure aren’t very bright are you? If your job is so horrible then why did you take it?
Something they obviously did not teach you: your job is not something that “happened” to you. It is something you CHOSE to do.
And getting a college degree does not mean you win some sort of prize that guarantees a fat check for the rest of your life. Your past achievements mean nothing to an employer. They pay what you are worth at the moment. Evidently you are worth “little better than minimum wage”.

ONE OF THE MOST JUVENILE AND OVERLY-DRAMATIC POSTS i HAVE SEEN YET:
i am just seething with anger. i can’t even express my anger in one post…i just can’t with this police brutality. I understand that they have orders but TEAR GAS, BEAN BAGS, AND RUBBER BULLETS seriously? there is NO WAY you can excuse this!”“
Actually it is easy to excuse. STOP BREAKING THE LAW. WHEN TOLD TO DISPERSE, DISPERSE! Stop destroying private and public property.
Enforcing the law to protect the citizens and their property is NOT police brutality. It is what TAX PAYERS pay them to do.
The 99% response to the 53% posts.
Amazing how violent and enraged the response is from OWS supporters. That’s par when liberals discuss politics so I’m not sure why I thought this would be different.
I still don’t know what they get so incensed about, though. The idea that just about anyone can succeed in this country (which contradicts their M.O. of victimization)? Or the admission that MANY (f not most) of the people who experience poverty in the U.S. do so as a result of THEIR OWN CHOICES and THEIR OWN ACTIONS?
Another example of why children should not have unsupervised internet access.

The greediest people I have seen on the internet. “”
Evidently, “idrownideas”, you also drown out the message. Showing people that independence is possible is not greedy, it is encouragement.
“”The 53 percent counter-movement to the 99 percent movement is literally so moronic.”“
Not sure what you find “moronic” in people proving that just about anyone can succeed in this country if they just put forth a little effort and put down the bong.
I guess optimism and self reliance don’t have the dramatic effect as victimization and tales of people starving in the streets because of Big Evil Corporation (queue the creepy organ music).
Oh, and people who use “literally” to emphasize something literally come across as airheads. Literally.
